Grouper Tacos Recipe
Ingredients:
- 1 lb grouper fillets, cut into strips
- 1 cup flour
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
- 1 teaspoon Old Bay seasoning
- Salt and pepper
- Vegetable oil (for frying)
- 8 small tortillas
Slaw:
- 2 cups shredded cabbage
- 1/4 cup chopped cilantro
- 2 tablespoons lime juice
- Salt and pepper
Sauce:
- 1/4 cup mayonnaise
- 1 tablespoon hot sauce
- 1 tablespoon lime juice
Instructions:
- Prepare slaw: Toss cabbage, cilantro, lime juice, salt, and pepper. Set aside.
- Bread fish: Dredge grouper in flour, dip in egg, then coat with panko mixed with Old Bay, salt, and pepper.
- Fry: Heat oil in skillet. Fry fish until golden and cooked through. Drain on paper towels.
- Assemble: Fill tortillas with fish, slaw, and sauce. Serve immediately.
