Grouper Tacos Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb grouper fillets, cut into strips
  • 1 cup flour
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
  • 1 teaspoon Old Bay seasoning
  • Salt and pepper
  • Vegetable oil (for frying)
  • 8 small tortillas

Slaw:

  • 2 cups shredded cabbage
  • 1/4 cup chopped cilantro
  • 2 tablespoons lime juice
  • Salt and pepper

Sauce:

  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon hot sauce
  • 1 tablespoon lime juice

Instructions:

  1. Prepare slaw: Toss cabbage, cilantro, lime juice, salt, and pepper. Set aside.
  2. Bread fish: Dredge grouper in flour, dip in egg, then coat with panko mixed with Old Bay, salt, and pepper.
  3. Fry: Heat oil in skillet. Fry fish until golden and cooked through. Drain on paper towels.
  4. Assemble: Fill tortillas with fish, slaw, and sauce. Serve immediately.
