Oyster Stew Recipe
Ingredients:
- 1 pint fresh oysters (with liquor)
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1 small onion, finely chopped
- 2 cups whole milk
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- Salt and pepper
- Hot sauce (optional)
- Chopped parsley for garnish
Instructions:
- Sauté onion: Cook onion in butter until soft.
- Simmer: Add milk and cream. Heat gently (do not boil).
- Add oysters: Stir in oysters and their liquor. Cook until edges curl.
- Season & serve: Season with salt, pepper, and hot sauce. Garnish with parsley.
