Chicken Pilau Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 2 lbs bone-in chicken pieces
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 1 bell pepper, chopped
  • 2 cups long-grain rice
  • 4 cups chicken broth
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • Salt to taste
  • Chopped parsley for garnish

Instructions:

  1. Brown chicken: In a large pot, brown chicken in butter. Remove and set aside.
  2. Sauté veggies: Cook onion and bell pepper until soft.
  3. Simmer: Return chicken to pot. Add broth, paprika, pepper, and salt. Simmer 30 minutes.
  4. Add rice: Stir in rice. Cover and cook until rice is tender and liquid is absorbed.
  5. Serve: Garnish with parsley.
