Pecan Pie Bars Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup flour
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup butter, softened
  • 2 eggs
  • 3/4 cup light corn syrup
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon melted butter
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 1/2 cups chopped pecans
  • Pinch of salt

Instructions:

  1. Make crust: Mix flour, sugar, and butter. Press into a greased 8x8-inch pan. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 15 minutes.
  2. Make filling: Whisk eggs, corn syrup, brown sugar, melted butter, vanilla, pecans, and salt.
  3. Bake: Pour filling over crust. Bake 25-30 minutes. Cool before cutting.
